Day 1: Bangkok arrival (G)
Arrival. Transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free to visit one of the oldest cities in Southeast Asia, which combines its wonderful cultural heritage temples and markets with modern shopping centers. Herein lies the royal family, government and the administration is based, and is the largest center for industrial, commercial and financial activities of the country. It is the main port of the kingdom and home to one tenth of the population. The capital of Thailand is also the main gate of the country and the most important tourism attraction. Accommodation.
Day 2: Bangkok city tour (B, L, G)
Breakfast. In the morning, we will visit three of the most unusual Buddhist temples in Bangkok. The tour starts at Wat Trimitr, the Temple of the Golden Buddha with 5,500 kg of pure gold; continue until the Wat Po, the temple of the reclining Buddha of 46 meters. Covered with gold foil and Chedis of Kings, the tallest Buddhist monument in the world. Continue with the visit of Grand Palace, former residence of the kings of Thailand, where they can see a live example of the architecture of ancient Siamese court, with its bright domes covering needle-shaped roofs. Walking along the inside you can see the fantasy of designs and where the country’s most sacred emblem is the Emerald Buddha. Rest of the day free to explore at your own pace “City of Angels” and discover the charms of one of the oldest cities in the Southeast Asiatic. You will spend the night in Bangkok.
Day 3: Bangkok/Floating Market/Rose Garden/Bangkok (B, L, G)
Breakfast at hotel. Then you’ll be driven southwards of Bangkok to the garden province of Samut Songhkhram in the Mae Klong river delta area. Firstly, you’ll visit a unique country market along the railway tracks. See the train arrive bringing the people to the market. Later on, you’ll continue to visit fascinating floating market at Damnoen Saduak about 110 km from Bangkok in the Ratchaburi province. On arrival, you’ll visit local Sugar Palm factory before board on a long tails boat along Damnern canals. After spend time at the floating market, you’ll continue to visit teakwood carving. On the way return to Bangkok, you’ll stop at the Rose Garden which is a picturesque country resort consisting of over 50 acres of tropical paradise with flower gardens, orchards and a typical Thai village. Buffet lunch inside the Rose Garden and then followed by Thai cultural shows, you can witness ordination into the fingernail dance, Thai boxing, hill tribe dance, sword fighting, elephants at work and folk dancing. You will spend the night in Bangkok.
Day 4: Bangkok/Ayuthaya/Lopburi/Phitsanulok (B, L, G)
Breakfast. Departure to Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of Thailand, to visit some of the most important ruins of this historic city, Wat Wat Phra Chaiwathanaram and Srisampetch. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue to Lopburi to visit the Temple of the monkeys, the ruins of War Phra Sri Ratana and Phra Sam Yod to proceed to Phitsanuloke.
Day 5: Phitsanulok/Sukhothai/Chiang Rai (B, L, G)
Breakfast. Visit the main chapel of Phitsanuloke, Wat Phra Sri Ratana Mahathat. Continue visiting Sukhothai Historical Park, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We will give a bike ride around the grounds of Sukhothai, among its ruins and lakes. Contemplate one of the most important icons, the Big Buddha of Wat Sri Chum White. Lunch. Departure to Chiang Rai, making a stop at Lake Payao.
Day 6: Chiang Rai/trekking on SIC (join) basis (B, L, G)
Breakfast. Pick up from hotel/Guest house in Chiangrai at 10.00am, Take a short drive to Chiang Rai boat pier and take long tail boat a long Mae Kok River side to visit Karen hill tribe village and Elephant camp for elephant riding through the beautiful mountainous landscape and for some souvenir shopping from hill tribe,
Lunch at local restaurant or at the hill tribe village, Then short drive to hill tribe villages start trekking on hill tribe ways through the jungle, tea plantation, and waterfall enjoy swimming at waterfall, Then walk down hill to the natural hot spring for relaxing. Return back to hotel / Guest house in Chiang Rai.
Day 7: Chiang Rai/Chiang Mai (B, L, G)
Breakfast. Departure from the hotel to the pier and traditional boat visit to the villages of ethnic minorities Kare and Lahu (Muser) along the Kok River. A continuation, elephant ride through magnificent landscapes. Visit the famous white temple of Wat Rong Khun. Departure from Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai by road. Arrive Chiang Mai and lunch. In the afternoon visit the temple complex Wat Doi Suthep, the best known of Chiang Mai, situated on top of a small mountain 15 kilometers northwest of the city.
Day 8: Chiang Mai (B, L, G)
Breakfast. Visit the elephant camp, where you can observe the animals swim, dragging logs and other feats. Visit the town of Karen giraffe women. Departure to Mae Sa Valley and visit the orchid farm Sai Nam Phung with the best selection and a small butterfly enclosure. Lunch. In the afternoon visit to some local handicraft factories as lacquer, silk weaving and production of umbrellas. Also visit a factory of wooden sculptures with possibility of buying Burmese antiques.
Day 9: Chiang Mai departure by FLIGHT (B, G)
Breakfast. Transfer to Chiang Mai airport and departure flight. End of Services
