Highlights: Focus on the natural attractions in the North with the seductive offering of the national park of Cuc Phuong and Tam Dao where populated by thousand year old trees and dripping vines along with appearance of different scare kinds of birds. Visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre where conserves two of the rarest species in the world – Delacourt’s Langur and Cat Ba Golden Langur and sleep in a bungalow amidst the forest.

Day 1: Arrival at Hanoi (D, G)
Upon arrival at Noi Bai airport, our guide will greet and accompany you to your hotel. Free time until you’ll be picked up to watch water puppet performance, a traditional art form closely connected with the long-standing spiritual life of the Vietnamese people. You?ll then be driven to a good local restaurant and enjoy a welcome dinner with us. Your overnight stay will be in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi/Xuan Thuy (B, L, D, G)
After breakfast, you’ll be driven to Xuan Thuy National Park – 150 km south-west of Hanoi in the coastal zone of the Red River Delta. It is an internationally important wintering area for migratory water birds including such rarities as Asian Dowitcher, Nordmann’s Greenshank, Spoon-billed Sandpiper, Saunders?s Gull and Black-faced Spoonbill. Moreover, It is also an important migratory stop-over for non-water birds, with large numbers of passerines passing through the site during the spring and autumn migrations. You could have time to learn more about some rare birds in here. You’ll spend the night in Xuan Thuy.
Day 3: Xuan Thuy/Cuc Phuong (B, L, D, Park G)
Breakfast at the restaurant, you’ll drive to Cuc Phuong National Park. It is the first national park of Vietnam and is the country’s largest natural reserve with the variety of flora and fauna with thousand-year-old trees and dripping vines. You?ll firstly be guided to visit the Prehistory Cave and the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre. You could take this opportunity to see with your eyes and know more about thousands of different endangered species. Your overnight will be in the Park.
Day 4: Cuc Phuong National Park (B, L, D, Park G)
You’ll be waken up by the beautiful sounds of birdsong. You’ll then take a walk through the lush rainforest that makes up the park to enjoy your day with seeing so many kinds of birds. You’ll spend the night at the park center.
Day 5: Cuc Phuong National Park (B, L, Park G)
After breakfast, you will continue enjoy half day bird watching. After lunch, you’ll be picked up to return to Hanoi to spend the night.
Day 6: Hanoi/Tam Dao (B, L, D, Park G)
After breakfast, you’ll travel to Tam Dao National Park (80 km). It covers a large part of Tam Dao range, which is one of the terminal spurs of a larger mountainous area. Tam Dao National Park is covered by rich flora consisting of 490 species, the high classes belonging to 344 genera and 130 families. The park is a promising center for forest ecological research on rare and valuable flora and fauna. You could have chance to see so many kinds of birds there such as ied falconets, ratchet-tailed tree pies, bar-backed partridges, fork-tailed sunbirds and pin-tailed pigeons. You’ll spend the night in Tam Dao.
Day 7: Tam Dao/Hanoi (B, L, Park G)
Morning bird watching. You’ll return to Noi Bai airport for your departure flight.
