Description: A Thailand classic 9 day tour will bring you closer to everything you associate with Thailand: the temples, palaces, monuments, rive life, Thai Food, handicrafts, hill tribes. We’ll visit Ayutthaya, Phitsanulok, Sukhothai, Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai.

Day 1: Arrive Bangkok (G)
On arrival at Suvanphumi Airport, you will be met and transferred to hotel. Your overnight stay will be in Bangkok.

Day 2: Bangkok City Tour (B, L, G)
Breakfast at hotel. You’ll begin your tour of Bangkok with a long tail boat ride along the Chao Phraya River to see many lively inner canals which provide some fantastic views of the local life. Along the way you will stop over at Wat Arun, the temple of dawn, before continuing to the Grand Palace which dedicated to the Thai Royal Family’s ceremonies. Nearby is the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew, which is famous for the Emerald Buddha Image. After seeing this complex, you will drive through the many vibrant streets of China Town to some of the most significant temples in Bangkok. The landmark of Wat Traimit is well known as the Golden Buddha Temple while Wat Pho houses a gigantic Reclining Buddha. You will spend the night in Bangkok.

Day 3: Bangkok/Ayutthaya/Phitsanuloke (B, L, G)
Breakfast at hotel. Meet at the lobby of the hotel, depart by luxury air conditioned to visit Bang Pa In Summer Palace, a charming collection of palaces and pavilions used for years by the royal family in the summer, continue to Ayuthaya, the ancient capital of Thailand, will visit some of the most important ruins of this historic city, visit to Wat Phra and Wat Chaiwathanaram Srisampetch. Lunch. Continue to Phitsanulok to visit on arrival Wat Phra Sri Ratana Mahat and check into hotel and free at own leisure

Day 4: Phitsanuloke/Sukhothai/Chiang Mai (B, L, G)
Breakfast at hotel. Depart to Sukhothai for historical park of the first independent Siamese kingdom. Continue to Chiang Mai with visit en-route to Wat Lampangluang for ancient classic Lanna Buddhist architecture. Lunch at restaurant, and toward to check into hotel in Chiang Mai and overnight stay

Day 5: Chiang Mai Sightseeing (B, L, G)
Breakfast at hotel. Breakfast at hotel. Visit to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep for witness Thailand most popular Buddhist pilgrim center. Drive to Doi Pui for Meo Hilltribe village for beautiful garden and handicrafts. Lunch at restaurant, before tour downhill to visit Wat Jet Yod and visit to Bosrang and Sankamphaeng for all kind of local products such as Umbrella, silverware, Teakwood handicrafts, Thai Silk weaving etc. Overnight stay in Chiang Mai.

Day 6: Chiang Mai/Chiang Rai (B, L, G) by car only (no flight)
After breakfast, driver to Chiang Rai to visit Doi Tung, 2,000 meters above sea level. In the past, shifting slash-and-burn cultivation destroyed the forest around Doi Tung area. Until 1987 when the Doi Tung Development Project was established in accordance to the King’s Mother initiative. Then visit to Mae Fah Luang Garden and Doi Tung Royal villa. You will spend the night in Chiang Rai.

Day 7: Chiang Rai/Chiang Saen/Golden Triangle (B, L, G)
Breakfast at the hotel. You will drive to Mae Chan to visit Akha hill tribe villages; explore the villages that are very simple, unique costumes, their own tradition and dialect. The trip continues to visit archeological remains at Chiang Saen city, the first capital city of the northern Thailand.

In the afternoon, you will visit the world famous Golden Triangle where the borders of three countries (Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar) are met. Enjoy the panoramic view of Mekong River and Hall of Opium and Boat Trip along the Mae Khong River, made a stop at Don Sao Village, Laos. Then continue to Mae Sai town, the Thailand-Myanmar border and the northernmost point of Thailand. Enjoy shopping the Myanmar products at the local market. You will return to your hotel in late afternoon. You will spend the night in Chiang Rai.

Day 8: Chiang Rai/Bangkok Flight (B, G)
Your time will be your own until our guide and driver arrive to take you to Chiang Rai airport where you will board the flight to Bangkok arrive Bangkok transfer to check into hotel and free at own leisure. Overnight stay in Bangkok.

Day 9: Bangkok Departure (B, G)
Breakfast at hotel. You’ll be free until transfer to the airport for flight departure to next destination.
