Your time to explore Sapa a fascinating destination by trekking to almost every corner of this magical area. Experience the daily life of ethnic people with home stay to know more about their culture and customs. Enjoy the spectacular and stunning mountainous scenery on the way. You could be very excited to visit the ethnic villages with many colorfully dressed ethnic people and their different traditions. Some, like the H’mong, are jolly and outgoing, others like the Red Dao, are quieter and more reserved. The clothes are works of art look out for the unusual rough linen material dyed with indigo that gives the Black H’mong their name

Day 1: Arrival at Hanoi (D, G)

Upon arrival at Noi Bai airport, our guide will greet and accompany you to your hotel. Free time until you?ll be picked up to watch water puppet performance, a traditional art form closely connected with the long-standing spiritual life of the Vietnamese people. You?ll then be driven to a good local restaurant and enjoy a welcome dinner with us. Your overnight stay will be in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi city tour (B, L, G)

The morning tour will begin with Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the resting place of Uncle Ho. You will also see his house-on-stilts and learn about the simple life of the Vietnamese?s beloved leader. Your next visit will be Tran Quoc Pagoda, one of the oldest pagodas, which still maintains its unique architecture harmonious with nature and boasts many precious Buddhist statues. You will then driven to Temple of Literature, the oldest school in Vietnam, giving it the distinction of being the most significant temple in both Hanoi and Vietnam.

In the afternoon, you will call at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, an excellent instruction to the cultural heritages of Vietnam’s 54 distinct ethnic groups. Later on, you will visit the beautiful Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake – a striking blue gem in the city centre. The tour ends with 1 ?hour walking tour around the Old Quarters to enjoy its warmth and cosiness, looking up to contemplate centuries-old and weather-beaten houses, both familiar and exotic, etc.You’ll drive back to the local standard hotel for your refreshment before boarding a night train to to Lao Cai.

Day 3: Lao Cai/Sapa (B, L, G)

On arrival at Lao Cai Station, your tour guide will meet and take you to local restaurant to have breakfast. You’ll then be driven to start the tour with a visit to market frequented by ethnic minority peoples. The market with all it’s colorful ethnic people who gathers to buy and sell.  Come here, you would witness the culture and the customs of the minority?s people. You’ll have time for shopping in the market. Your picnic lunch will be served at local restaurant.

In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Sapa, seeing a home to a great diversity of ethnic minority people. Its breathtaking mountain scenery is some of the best in Asia with high green mountains cuddled in clouds, scattered rice terraces and rich agricultural areas where the native inhabitants live and harvest their crops…. The villages are traditional and are typically tucked away at the bottom of the hill slopes. Most of the villagers wear traditional colorful costumes. Rest of the day, your time will be your own to explore Sapa town .You’ll spend the night in Sapa.

Day 4: Sapa/Tavan/Seomiti (B, L, D, G)

After breakfast, you will be picked up and driven to valley south of Sapa- Ta Van village where you can see the Day ethnic people. On arrival, you’ll have time to walk around the village and then ascend the mountain and cross the pass to reach the Blach H?mong village of Seomity. On the way, you could have chance to enjoy the magnificent view of mountainous scenery. You’ll spend the night in tents near the remote Black H’mong village – Seomiti.

Day 5: Seomiti/Ta Trung Ho (B, L, D, G)

Waking up early in the morning, you could have time to enjoy the stunning view with cloud and mountains around and fresh atmosphere and quite surroundings. After breakfast, you will take your trekking through beautiful rice paddies and over old suspension bridges. You’ll spend the night in Ta Trung Ho which is inhabited by the Red Dao minority. Both the valley and the village received its first foreign visitors in 1996 in connection with a special project in the area.

Day 6: Ta Trung Ho/Xafo (B, L, D, G)

You’ll are now at the fringe of the rain forest by the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. With 3,143 m the highest mountain in Vietnam – Fan Si Pan – is located in this mountain range. Crossing a mountain pass in the altitude of 1,180 m, you’ll trek to Nam Sai. The Xafo Hill tribe, who inhabits Nam Sai, is one of the smallest minorities in Vietnam. Your overnight stay will be in a local house in Nam Sai.

Day 7: Xafo/Nam Sai/Sin Chai (B, L, D, G)

After breakfast, you’ll continue your trekking further through the valley and then pass Thanh Phu village. Your lunch will be at Thanh Phu village.

After a short walking, you’ll arrive to the Red Dao village – Sin Chai. You enjoy your dinner in a private Red Dao house. You’ll spend the night in bamboo huts.

Day 8: Sin Chai/Suoi Thau/Sin Chai (B, L, D, G)

After breakfast, you’ll take your trekking around the mountain to Thanh Phu village. You will cross the river and trek by the riverbank to Ban Ho village – inhabited by the Tay minority. It is possible to enjoy a refreshing evening swim in the river nearby the village. You’ll spend the night in a friendly local Tay family.

Day 9: Sin Chai/Thanh  Phu/Ban Ho/Sapa/Hanoi (B, L, D, G)

After breakfast, you’ll leave for Su Pan, where you’ll be picked up to return to Sapa. We arrive in Sapa in the early afternoon. You’ll then transfer to Lao Cai Railways Station for your overnight train back to Hanoi.

Day 9: Hanoi departure (B)

Arrive to Hanoi in the early morning, you’ll be picked up to your hotel for refreshment, you’ll then be free until your driver arrives to take you to Noi Bai airport for your departure flight.
