Begin your tour of Myanmar by exploring the diverse range of architecture visible through the city of Yangon. You also visit some of the city’s finest temples, including the spectacular Shwedagon Pagoda and Kyaukhtetgyi Pagoda. Continue your tour of Myanmar by heading to Mandalay. En-route, visit Ava where a short ferry ride crosses the river to the old wooden Bagaya Monastery. Head back to Mandalay and enjoy panoramic views from Mandalay Hill. Your tour continues to the beautiful Bagan with sightseeing in all this marvelous place has to offer – from its scintillating temples to quaint villages and endearing people. Finish your tour in Inle Lake with pagodas, Floating Gardens, Stilt house Villages…

 Begin your tour of Myanmar by exploring the diverse range of architecture visible through the city of Yangon. Day 1: Yangon arrival and sightseeing (by car) ( G )

Arrive at Yangon International Airport, welcome by our Myanmar tours guide. Check in to hotel and Yangon sightseeing; visit to Chaukhtatgyi (Reclining Buddha) Pagoda a colossal reclining Buddha, Karaweik Hall Royal barge on the Royal lake for photo stop, Yangon’s city center featuring Sule Pagoda at city center and colonial building, drive in downtown visit China Town with the fruit market and Yangon’s city center covering World famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Witness the golden dome light up sunshine at the sunset. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

 

Day 2: Yangon/Mandalay full day sightseeing  (by flight,car) ( B , G )

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Airport for Mandalay, up on arrival check in to hotel and Mandalay full day sightseeing; visit to Mahamuni Pagoda, Kyauktawgyi Pagoda a large Buddha image carved out of a single block of marble, Shwenandaw Monastery (Golden Palace) noted for its exquisite wood carving, Kuthodaw Pagoda known as the world’s Biggest Book for its stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures. Mandalay Palace and in the evening enjoy the sunset from Mandalay Hill. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

 

Day 3: Mandalay/Mingun/Amarapura sightseeing (by boat and car)( B , G )

After breakfast at hotel, Excursion to Amarapura. Visit to Mahagandayon Monastery, U Bein Bridge and observe Myanmar  Traditional Hand-Woven silk workshop.

In the afternoon Depart Mandalay on a private boat along the Ayeyarwaddy River to visit Mingun, a village on the west bank of the river. Visit to Settawya Pagoda, Mingun Pahtotawgyi, the world renowned ringing Mingun Bell and Myatheintan Pagoda, to enjoy the sunset on boat at Ayeyarwaddy. Return to Mandalay and overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

 

Day 4: Mandalay/Bagan (by express boat and car) ( B , G )

Take a local river cruise trip to Bagan along the river Ayeyarwaddy sampling some of the village life of the people on the river banks. In the evening, arrive at Bagan and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.

 

Day 5: Bagan full day sightseeing (by car) ( B , G )

For sightseeing includes visit to the colorful Nyaung U Market, Shwezigon Pagoda and its magnificent golden stupa, Htilominlo Temple noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sand stone decoration, Gubyaukgyi Temple, with superb mural paintings of jataka scenes. Visit to Myinkaba Village and observe the process of Traditional Lacquarware Industry one of Myanmar’s best-known handicrafts. Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece of the early-style temple with four impressive standing Buddha images. Thabinnyu Temple, the highest temple in Bagan, Dhammayangyi Temple noted for its remarkable brickwork. Enjoy sunset over the site from the upper terrace of Shwesandaw Pagoda. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.

 

Day 6: Bagan full day sightseeing. (by car) ( B , G )

Morning sightseeing start with Lawkananda Pagoda; East and West Phet Leik with clay plaque Jataka scenes; Thatbyinnyu Temple; Shwegugyi Temple; Palace site and Tharaba Gate. Tour includes Apeyadana Temple with the paintings of Mahayana concept; Nagayon Temple; Archaeological Museum; Dhamayangyi Temple, a massive Temple with finest brick work and Mingalar Zedi to watch sunset over the Ayeyarwaddy River. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.

 

Day 7: Bagan/Mt Popa/Bagan ( B , G )

After breakfast at hotel, visit to Mt.Popa, is considered the early font of power for the mystical world of the nats. Climb up Mt. Popa and view the surrounding area. Overnight at hotel in Mt Popa.

 

Day 8: Bagan/Heho/Inle lake  (by flight, car and boat) ( B , G )

Early morning transfer to airport for Bagan to Heho by flight. Arrive Heho, drive to Inle Lake and  sightseeing by boat. Visit to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Floating Gardens, Unique Leg-rowers, Traditional Fishing Method, Silk Weaving, Stilt House Villages on the lake and Nge Pe Chaung (Jamping Cat) Monastery and proceed to Indein. Overnight at hotel in Inle.

 

Day 9: Inle Lake/Indein sightseeing ( by boat) ( B , G )

After breakfast at hotel, Visit to Indein, ancient pagodas, Shan Cheroot making, free for leisure in Inle Lake. Overnight in Inle Lake.

 

Day 10: Inle/Heho/Yangon (by flight and car) ( B , G )

Transfer to Airport, Heho to Yangon by flight. Arrive Yangon and transfer to hotel. Free at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

 

Day 11: Shopping and Departure (by car) ( B , G )

Morning shopping at Treasure, Gems and Handicrafts shops. Visit to Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market where you can buy many souvenirs. And then transfer to Airport for departure from Yangon.
