Day 1: Yangon arrival (G)
Meet on arrival at Yangon International Airport. If arriving, by morning or mid-day flight, transfer to hotel. Proceed on a sightseeing tour that includes the old colonial style city center; the gilded Sule Pagoda, dating back over 2,000 years; Bogyoke market ; Chauk Htet Gyi, a huge reclining Buddha image, followed by the massive Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the wonders of the world for its religious significance, artistic beauty and its association with Myanmar culture. If arriving on a late afternoon flight, transfer to hotel only.Overnight in Yangon.
Day 2: Yangon/Bagan by flight (B, L, G)
In the morning fly to Bagan (by morning flight) to discover the richest archeological site of Asia with more than 2,000 temples and stupas. Visit the busy local Nyaung U market; Shwezigon Pagoda, a prototype of later Myanmar stupas; Wetkyi-in Gubyaukkyi Temple with fine mural painting of Jataka scense; Htilominlo Temple, noted for its plaster carvings. After that visit the Manuha Temple, Nan Paya and lacquer ware industry. Observe a sunset in the vicinity of Bagan’s ancient monuments. Overnight in Bagan.
Day 3: Bagan/Mandalay by flight (B, L, G)
Morning visit to Ananda Temple, famous for its arts, architecture, glazed plaques, woodcarving, stucco, terra cotta and stone sculpture. Then fly to Mandalay and visit the venerable Mahamuni Pagoda; Myanmar traditional handicraft workshops: marble works and wood carvings; gold-leaf making and tapestry works. And then visit to Shwe Kyaung (Golden Palace) Monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carvings; Kuthodaw Pagoda, a large Buddha image carved out of a single block of marble and enjoy the sunset at Mandaaly Hill, a vantage point for a panoramic view of the city. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 4: Mandalay/Mingun/Sagaing/Amarapura/Mandalay (B, L, G)
Morning excursion to Mingun by boat, 11km upriver from Mandalay on the opposite bank of Ayeyarwaddy River. Tour highlights include: the huge unfinished Mingun Pagoda with a marble foot print of Buddha; Mingun Bell which weight 90 tons and Myatheindan pagoda with seven concentric terraces at the base. Return to Mandalay. Then continue to Sagaing driving over Inwa(Ava) bridge across the Ayeyawaddy River. After then visit the Khaungmudaw, an enormous solid dome-shaped pagoda, and picturesque Sagaing Hill, a retreat for Buddhist devotees with numerous pagodas and monasteries. Afterward proceed to 1.2 km long U Bein Wooden Bridge to view an unforgettable sunset. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 5: Mandalay/Heho/Inle by flight (B, L, G)
In the morning fly to Heho and then transfer to Inle Lake, famous for its unique leg-rowers and scenic beauty. Enjoy the boat ride to visit the Phaung Daw Oo pagoda; silver smith workshop; silk weaving industry; a black smith cigar making factory; floating garden, native method of fishing and explore the way of life in Inthars and Nga Phe Chaung (jumping cats) monastery. Overnight in Inle.
Day 6: Inle/Heho/Yangon by flight (B, L, G)
Morning visit to colorful Market, where one can see several hill tribes selling and buying fresh vegetables and regional products; Indein village (45 minutes boat trip) on the western shore of the lake to visit ancient Shwe Indein Pagoda complex following a stair path lined up with magnificent columns. And then transfer to Heho airport to fly back to Yangon. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 7: Yangon/Bangkok/Siem Reap (B, G)
Morning sightseeing to Kaba Aye pagoda, significant for the Six World Buddhist Synod which was held in its large compound in 1954. The Buddhist Art Museum and Maha Pasana Guha Cave are also located in the same compound. And then transfer to international airport for flight to Bangkok, and then continue to Siem Reap. Arrival Siem Reap and our guide will pick you up at Siem Reap International airport, then transfer to hotel for checking in. Overnight at Siem Reap.
Day 8: Siem Reap (B, L, G)
Morning visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Terrace of Elephant, Terrace of Leper King and Pimaen Akas. Then transfer to visit the famous temple of Cambodia, Angkor Wat, and its visually, architecturally and artistically breathtaking. Its structure massive three tiered pyramid crowned by five beehive-like towers rising 65 meters from ground level and this temples is the centerpiece of any visit to the temple of Angkor, and continue to take a romantic view sunset from Bakheng Hill. Overnight at Siem Reap.
Day 9: Siem Reap/Tonle Sap Lake (B, L, G)
Morning take the Tonle Sap Great Lake Cruise, visiting fisherman life, floating fishing villages dot the semi-submerged forest that lines the flood plain rim of the lake, offering an excellent place to see lakeside rural Cambodia, and a unique ecosystem rich with brids and other wildlife, other fisher life styles around in this lake, then back to visit Chntie Ecole Artisan D’Angkor. Free tour of the classes and workshops offer glimpse Cambodian artistry. Lunch at local restaurant. Then transfer to do shopping at Old Market and some souvenir shops. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 10: Siem Reap departure (B, G)
Your time will be your own until the guide and driver come and take you to the airport for your departure flight.
