Day 1: Bangkok arrival (D, G)
On arrival at Suvanphumi Airport, you will be met and transferred to hotel. Your time will be on your own until our guide and driver arrive to take you the a good local restaurant where you can enjoy a welcome diiner with a variety of typical Thai foods. Afterwards, you’ll enjoy a spectacular performance of Thai classical dances. Your overnight stay will be in Bangkok.
Day 2: Bangkok City Tour (B, L, G)
After breakfast, you’ll begin your tour of Bangkok with a long tail boat ride along the Chao Phraya River to see many lively inner canals which provide some fantastic views of the local life. Along the way you will stop over at Wat Arun, the temple of dawn, before continuing to the Grand Palace which dedicated to the Thai Royal Family’s ceremonies. Nearby is the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew, which is famous for the Emerald Buddha Image. After seeing this complex, you will drive through the many vibrant streets of China Town to some of the most significant temples in Bangkok. The landmark of Wat Traimit is well known as the Golden Buddha Temple while Wat Pho houses a gigantic Reclining Buddha. You will spend the night in Bangkok.
Day 3: Bangkok/Hua Hin (B, L, G)
Today you will take a lovely drive to Hua Hin. Lying some 200 kilometers to the south of Bangkok, Hua Hin is in fact the oldest beach resort of the country and is still as popular as ever. It is a tranquil white sand beach stretching from a rocky headland to Khao Takiap hill in the southern end where a Buddhist temple clings to the cliffs. About 5 km. long, Hua Hin beach is full of large smooth stones at its ends and as a result it was named “Hua Hin” meaning the stone head. Upon arrival, you will check in your hotel. The rest of time will be on your own. You’ll spend the night in Hua Hin.
Day 4: Hua Hin free (B)
Today you can relax under a parasol on the tranquil beach of Hua Hin, enjoying the low-key atmosphere of this former fishing village. Perhaps indulge in a Thai massage, or splash out with some tropical cocktails. Alternatively, try your hand at horse riding along Hua Hin’s wide and sandy beaches. The night market in Hua Hin is a fantastic way to sample local Thai dishes – especially fresh seafood – and the restaurants on stilts will tempt you with specialities such as kingfish, octopus, mussels and crab. You will spend the night in Hua Hin.
Day 5: Hua Hin/Bang Saphan (B, L, G)
After breakfast, you will be driven 2 hours to Bang Saphan where the crystal clear water and an abundance of fantastic coral reefs and marine life around the islands of Ko Thalu and Ko Sang make them ideal for snorkeling and diving. For the swimmer, this tranquil beach would bring lots of funs and for those loving snorkeling, it would be an unforgettable experience. You will see in the water a garden of corals and fish swimming around. Then we go to a small island with a coral reef in front of it. The friends of snorkeling will have again a great joy. Your lunch will be served with local specialities. Evening return to hotel. You’ll spend the night in Hua Hin.
Day 6: Hua Hin/Kaeng Krachan (B, L, G)
After breakfast, you will be driven to Kaeng Krachan National Park which locates 70km north of Hua Hin. Upon arrival, you will follow a nature study trail along an 800-metre path starting from the car park and leading to the first level of Pa La-U Waterfall, a very beautiful 15-leap waterfall in the middle of this rich virgin forest. The surrounding green forests are an ideal place for those interested in ecology and wildlife. Various kinds of birds and colourful butterflies are found here in abundance. The falls are best visited in the wet season (June – Oct) when the flow is greatest, you can choose from a number of crystal clear bathing pools teeming with fish. If time permits, you’ll also visit rustic tribal villages nearby. You will return to your hotel in late afternoon. Your overnight stay will be in Hua Hin.
Day 7: Hua Hin/Bangkok (B, L, G)
Breakfast at hotel. Your time will be free until our guide and driver arrive to transfer you back to Bangkok. You will spend the night in Bangkok.
Day 8: Bangkok/Phuket (B, G)
After breakfast, you’ll proceed to Bangkok airport for morning flight to Phuket, Thailand’s largest island, which is often dubbed as the pearl of the Andaman, or the pearl of the south. Its natural resources- rocky peninsular, limestone cliffs, white powdery beaches, tranquil broad bays and tropical in-land forests contribute to making it the South’s wealthiest, busiest, most visited and most popular island and province. Arriving at Phuket airport, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for a check in and free at own leisure.
A sightseeing tour in the afternoon will introduce you the life and beauty of Phuket Island. Check out the yesteryears of Phuket’s old Sino-Portuguese buildings, built more than 100 year, these building portray Thai characteristic and heritage although architecturally they are blend of Chinese and European styles. You will then visit Wat Chalong a famous Buddhist temple in town, nice beaches, rubber plantation cashew nut factory and see sunset at Promthep Cape. Your overnight stay will be in Phuket.
Day 9: Phuket/Phang Nga Bay (B, L, G)
After breakfast, you will enjoy a lovely 45-minute drive from Phuket to Phang Nga Bay, one of southern Thailand’s most beautiful areas. Upon arrival, you will cruise along the bay to discover the unusual ecosystem which thrives in this amazing landscape, taking a closer look at Ko Panak and Ko Hong. You will also have a visit at ‘Jame Bond Island’, where Roger Moore shot the villain with his golden gun. Afterwards, you will continue to Koh Talu to explore the mangrove swamp and visit Tham Lod Noi and Tham Lod Yai (depending on the tide level and weather conditions). You’ll enjoy delicious lunch at the fishing village on Ko Pannyi island and then have time strolling around to visit this surprising village.
Afternoon, the boat departs to Lawa island where you can swim, or simply relax on the beach. You will return to Phang Nga Eco Tourism’s pier at 16.00 p.m and then take your vehicle back to Phuket for overnight stay.
Day 10: Phuket/Phi Phi Island (B, L, G)
In the morning, you’ll be picked up at your hotel and transferred to the pier for the boat trip to Phi Phi Island, just 48 km to the east of Phuket, famous for its natural scenic beauty with silver sand beaches fringed with palm trees, towering limestone cliffs and hills full of lush greenery. Our boat will first carry you to the famous ‘Ao Maya’ which was the setting for Leonardo Dicaprio’s movie, ‘The Beach’ filmed just a few years ago. The beaches there are absolutely gorgeous, truly a paradise on earth. Here you can admire Phi Phi Ley Island’s magical landscape and enjoy swimming, snorkeling with the colorful fishes and crystal clear water. You will then discover “Loh Samah Bay” and “Pileh Cove” and sightsee at the historic “Viking Cave”. You will have lunch at Phi Phi Don Island and have free time to explore its surroundings until returning to the habour and driving back to Phuket. You will spend the night in Phuket.
Day 11: Phuket free (B)
The day will be free for strolling in the town, lazing on the beach, or whatever takes your fancy. You’ll spend the night in Phuket.
Day 12: Phuket/Bangkok departure (B, G)
After breakfast, you’ll be free until your driver arrives to take you to Phuket airport for a flight to Bangkok to connect with your international departure flight.
