Mr. Dung (North of Vietnam): Quiet spoken, well mannered and willing to help as much as he could. Extemly flexible
Mr. Vinh (Centre of Vietnam):Willing to assist in every way. A little difficult to understand.
However was happy to listen and provide us with whatever service we asked for
Mr. Mui (South of Vietnam): Quiet spoken, extremely obliging. Very flexible was willing to substitute itinerrary sites to our requirements eg dropped us to Diamond Paza on our request instead of Central Markets. Arranged with Ha to use the Hydrofoil from Saigon to VungTau instead of a road trip. This saved us approx 2 hours in travel time.Mui made a special effort to try and locate some of the places of interest to me when I was in Vietnam in 1971
May De Ville Hotel (In Hanoi): Good Hotel. Well located. Upgraded to a Deluxe Room on the third night of our stay
Bai Tho Junk (In Ha Long):Extremely comfortable. The guide Jerry was good value with a good sense of humour. It should have been stressed before being served, that drinks were not included in the cost of the tour. The cost of alcoholic drinks was far too expensive
Hoi An Trails Resort (In Hoi An):A lovely resort style hotel, offering free internet, swimming pool etc. Unfortunately the shuttle service in to town was not frequent enough
Oscar Saigon Hotel (In Ho Chi Minh City):A well located restaurant with excellent service and a comfortable room
The two air flights through Air Vietnam were on time and comfortable.
The land transport provided by Gia Linh Travel was excellent.
In Hanoi:Excellent meals and service provided by all the restaurants in which meals were provided by Gia Linh Travel
In the Centre:As above
In the South:As above
The selection of places to visit was excellent. My only comment would be that Gia Linh should consider preparing an information sheet for some of the places visited. In particular the ones that have quite a complex history eg the Hindu Museum and Archeological site of Hinduism in Hoi Anne. There were occasions in all three areas of Vietnam site visits where it was not clear what the site was all about because of the accents of the guides. This is not meant as a criticism of the guides but a suggestion for improvement of the serv ice provided to travellers.
A good balance between free time and site seeing
Our entire experience in Vietnam was extremly fulfilling and we would be happy to recommend Gia Linh Travel to any potential traveller to Vienam’
The personal presents provided by the company to my wife( silk scarf) and myself (silk tie) was appreciated.
Ha your personal phone call to us each time we arrived at a new destination is something we have never experienced before. It was extremely well received. Thanks also Ha for all of your prompt replies to my endless emails when we were planning our trip to Vietnam.
Happy to recommend Gia Linh travel to any customers and also happy to act as a referee.
