Day 1: Arrival Solo-Karanganyar (L, D, G)
Upon arrival at Adi Soemarmo Airport and then drive about 2 hours to Karanganyar.
Stop by at Rumah Atsiri Indonesia, where you can join educative and informative tour around garden of essential oil plants, such as: lemongrass, citronella, cendana, lavender, etc. Here you can also purchase some essential oils made by Rumah Atsiri Indonesia. Drive to hotel. Check in INDAH PALACE RESORT & GARDEN.
Day 2: Karanganyar Tour (B, L, D, G)
After breakfast, check out and then visit: Grojogan Sewu Waterfall an 81 meters high waterfall located on slope of Mount Lawu. Proceed to visit: Sukuh Temple, an erotic Maya-like temple and Cetha Temple. Drive to Genengsari Village to try Jemparingan, sitting archery. Check in: THE ALANA HOTEL SOLO.
Day 3: Village Tour (B, L, D, G)
After breakfast and then drive to Sukoharjo, and enjoy horse cart tour along village, and stop by at some home industries. First you will stop by at Batik Tulis home industry, to now more about batik painting process, from drawing, waxing, coloring. And then make another stop at another modern textile home industry. Stop by at rattan home industry. And proceed riding horsecart along ricefield and kampungs. Drive further to Sritex Fashion Village for various affordable garments with good quality and also you can browse and shop for textile produced by Stitex. Return to hotel.
Day 4: Solo City Tour (B, L, D, G)
Today you will enjoy full day tour in the city of Solo visiting:House of Danarhadi, a museum of Batik to know more about Batik, one of heritage of Indonesia. There are hundreds of batik displayed here from Batik Keraton, the first kind of batik made by women in the palace with some deep intricate philosophies until coastal batik to some new batik. Proceed to Keris Museum: where displayed some of this Javanese traditional weapons and some information about how to make keris and some dioramas. Drive to Pura Mangkunegaran palace. And evening watch Wayang Wong at Taman Sriwedari Theater. Wayang Wong is a traditional theatrical play, usually playing Ramayana and Mahabharata, in Javanese language, you can also try foods made by women in this village.
Note: For big group we suggest adding city tour riding steamed train passing Jalan Slamet Riyadi and stop by at Loji Gandrung, Solo mayor House and Radya Pustaka Museum.
Day 5: Shopping Tour (B, L, G)
After breakfast, check out and visit: Laweyan Batik Village for various good quality of hand painted batik. And then transfer to airport. End of service.
