The amount that the Berkley Hotel charged to my credit card appears to have been cancelled. Thanks for your help with this matter.

 

Some brief comments on the 9 day tour that you arranged for us in Thailand:

 

1  All the four star accommodation was excellent. Good locations  and excellent service.​ We soon learnt that in Thailand there is a charge for a bucket of ice to be delivered to your room and that an iron is only available on request,  Some  hotels did not have an iron at all. No problem every country is different. The in- room food menu was good and very reasonable prices in all the hotels.

 

2 The transport was excellent and very comfortable. A Toyota van was provided and as there were only two of us the driver (a very pleasant man) placed us in the middle row of seats and turned the front seats around to face us. This allowed us to put our feet up on the front seats so we were really comfortable during some of those long drives.

 

3 Food ie breakfasts in the hotel and lunch provided by the Company was excellent. One meal was not very good so I complained to the guide. He explained that only 200 Baht had been budgeted for a meal for two. He got back to his boss reference my complaint and from the next day the meals were excellent.

 

4 The tour that you arranged was excellent. A good mix of site seeing and adventure. Obviously because of the long distance we covered (approx. 2000km by car and train) we did not have much leisure time. If we did it again I would allow about 12 days for a similar tour. The train trip was extremely comfortable and an unforgettable experience.

 

5 The one thing we did miss is that we did not get a call from the Company to ask us how things were going. This happened on a regular basis during our Viet Nam tour.

 

6 The Tour Guide Maha was excellent and took immediate action on any of our needs. We appreciated his pleasant personality and patience.

 

Overall an excellent tour which has left us with some wonderful memories of Thailand and what it has to offer to Tourists if they take the time to get out of the big cities.

 

A big thank you Ha for all your efforts and we would be happy to recommend the tour to anyone visiting Thailand.
