    This 12 day tour to Myanmar and Thailand is designed for whom are interested in exploring Thailand with limited time. This tour will offer you the opportunity to have a quick taste of Myanmar and get in depth in hidden beauty of Thailand.

    Start the tour by exploring rural floating market of Damnoen Saduak Floating Market in Bangkok. Then visit Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha Temple. See with your eyes Ayuthaya – the former capital of Siam. Visit Wat Mongkol Borphit with the gigantic bronze statue, the three ancient pagodas at Wat Phra Srisanphet and Wat Yai Chaimongkol. Have a look at Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai with the famous Golden Triangle.

    Then, experience the rich and thrilling culture of Myanmar, one of the most mysterious and undiscovered destinations in the world.     PROGRAMME IN DETAILS FOR THAILAND AND MYANMAR TOUR 12 DAYS

    Day 1: Bangkok arrival (G)

    On arrival at Suvanphumi Airport, you’ll be driven to your hotel. Rest of the day, you’ll be free to stroll around the city as you wish. You’ll spend the night in Bangkok.

     

    Day 2: Bangkok City Tour (B, L, G)

    After breakfast, you’ll begin your tour of Bangkok with a long tail boat ride along the Chao Phraya River to see many lively inner canals which provide some fantastic views of the local life. Along the way you will stop over at Wat Arun, the temple of dawn, before continuing to the Grand Palace which dedicated to the Thai Royal Family’s ceremonies. Nearby is the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew, which is famous for the Emerald Buddha Image. After seeing this complex, you will drive through the many vibrant streets of China Town to some of the most significant temples in Bangkok. The landmark of Wat Traimit is well known as the Golden Buddha Temple while Wat Po houses a gigantic Reclining Buddha. You will spend the night in Bangkok.

     

    Day 3: Bangkok/Damnern Saduak/Floating Market/Kanchanaburi (B, L, G)

    Early morning we drive to the south- west of Bangkok, visit to local market at Samut Songkram before driving to Damnern Saduak a rural floating market. We will stop to visit board on a long tail boat ride along the water way to the picturesque floating market of Damnern Saduak. Then we continue onto Kanchanaburi Town. Upon arrival we will visit to the memorial of the World War II including of Jeath War Museum, Cemetary. Lunch at a floating restaurant beside the Bridge Over the River Kwai. We drive continuing to Tiger Temple in the afternoon, to visit the home of wild tigers, and where the tiger you can see close and touchable. After enjoy an exciting with the tigers we continue to Wang Pho for feeding wild monkey. Then, board on the train ride along death railway to the town for overnight.

     

    Day 4: Kanchanaburi/Ayuthaya/Bangkok (B, L, G)

    Today we drive via Suphanburi to the former capital city of Siam , Ayuthaya. The ancient city of Ayuthaya is known as the “Venice of the East” due to the fact that it lies along the Chao Phraya River, the tributaries of which surround Ayuthaya province. The glory of the Ayutthaya Empire (1350-1767A.D.) is evident in the remains of temples such as Wat Phra Sri Sanphet and Wat Chai Wattanaram, and Wat Yai Chai Mongkol. We lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon, continue to Bang Pa In to visit the Royal Summer Palace. Overnight in Ayuthaya.

     

    Day 5: Bangkok/Chiang Mai (B, L, G)

    The journey northwards begins as we board a flight to Chiang Mai. After checking into hotel we drive west towards the famous Doi Suthep Mountain and embark on a walk leading us to Wat Prathat Temple near the summit. At an elevation of over 1,000 m , the temple grounds affords a panoramic view over the surrounding countryside. We follow this with a visit to the old and new parts of the town featuring the great diversity. The “Rose of the North”, Chiang Mai has been always noted for exquisite handicrafts whose the combination with the traditional wares of the hill tribe people offers fantastic shopping opportunities. We drive this afternoon to the neighboring villages of Sankampaeng and Borsarng to see the various cottages industries including silk weaving, wood carving, silver ware and umbrellas making.

     

    Day 6: Chiang Mai/Chiang Dao/Tha Ton (B, L, G)

    An early morning we travel by car northbound to Mae Taman Elephant training center to see elephant training shows. Then we followed by riding on the elephant ox cart riding return to the camp. Buffet lunch at the camp. Afternoon, visit Chiang Dao cave, and Wat Tham Tub Tao in Chiang Dao before continue onto the sleepy riverside town of Thaton on the banks of Mae Kok River. We arrive in Tha Ton before sunset at this small town visit Tha ton temple on top of the hill to see scenery the town, check in and free on your own.

     

    Day 7: Tha Ton/Long Necked/Golden Triangle/Chiang Rai (B, L, G)

    After breakfast, we continue drive along the road near Myanmar borderline to visit Akha and Padong long necked, the hill tribe villages and next stop will be at hot spring. Then continue to a famous Golden Triangle in which powerful warlords have fought for control the opium trade. We lunch at a local restaurant before visit the royal capital of the ancient Lanna Kingdom , Chiang Saen is nestled on the Mekong riverbank which is now the border between Thailand and Laos . Check in at hotel and free at leisure.

     

    Day 8: Chiang Rai/Doi Tung/Bangkok (B, L, G)

    After breakfast, tour to visit Royal Palace and Botanic Garden at Doi Tung, Doi Tung is the site of a major environmental and socio-economic development project initiated by Her Royal Highness Srinakarindra the Princess Mother; mother of His Majesty the King of Thailand. You can spend the time at the beautiful gardens. Lunch at a restaurant at Doi tung, before continue to the airport for flight return to Bangkok. Arrival in Bangkok, transfer to hotel and free on your own.

     

    Day 9: Bangkok/Yangon (B, G)

    Breakfast at hotel, then free at leisure till the time has come for your transfer to the airport for your flight to Yangon. Arrive in Yangon where you will be welcomed by your local tour guide and transferred to your hotel to drop off you luggage. Overnight at the Hotel.

     

    Day 10: Yangon/Bago/Yangon (B, L, G)

    Breakfast at hotel. After Breakfast Drive to north of Yangon , the Ancient Mon Dynasty Called ” Bago ” ( 80 km , 2 hrs drive ). On the way visit Kyeik Pon Pagoda -28 meter high huge Buddha Image and proceed to Bago and continue visit to Kya Khat Wai Monastery is one of the three largest Monasteries in the country. Watching the long line of Monks and Novices taking their last meal of the day in silence is quite an impressive sight.

    Visit Shwemawdaw Pagoda – One of the most venerated pagoda in Myanmar and a great statue (55 feet long) of a reclining Buddha, believed to have been built in 944. Afternoon visit of Kanbawzadi Palace, Shwetharlaung – Huge reclining Buddha, Maha Zedi, walking around Mon Village to see the hand made weaving and daily life of the Mon People, cheroot making factory. Drive Back to Yangon, on the way visit Htauk Kyant War Memorial Cemetery , a regal memorial to the 27,000 Allied soldiers who died in World War II. Overnight at hotel.

     

    Day 11: Yangon/Thanlyin/Yangon (B, L, G)

    Breakfast at hotel. First visit to Thanlyin (Syriam), The colonial town of Thanlyin (Syrian) was a major port and important trading centre from the 14th through the 18th centuries until it was displaced by Yangon in 1755. Arrive Thanlyin. As a first visit, Kyaik- Khauk Pagoda (Most likely the first stupa on this hillock was erected by the Mon AD- 600-800), able to enjoy panoramic Bago River View and Skyline of City Yangon. Proceed to Kyauk Tan and visit to the Pagoda with the local boat. Its approximately named since the complex is perched on a tiny Island in the middle of the river.

    After visit , drive back to Yangon and afternoon sightseeing Kaba Aye – World Peace Pagoda, Mahapasana Cave (where sixth Buddhist synod took place ) Chaukhtat Gyi -A huge reclining Buddha Image , and sunset at the Great Shwedagon Pagoda (The World Famous Stupa) . Overnight at Hotel.

     

    Day 12: Yangon (B, G)

    Morning breakfast at hotel. Free and leisure at the hotel until departure for next destination
