<\/p>I had a chance to visit Ly Son during my\u00a0package holiday to Vietnam<\/a>\u00a0and we decided to stay in local people\u2019s house.\u00a0<\/span>\n

Homestay address: Mrs Hoa (usually addressed Ty) at 0984437864<\/p>\n

On last March 8<\/span>th<\/span>, our group of 9 members made a trip to Ly Son and stayed at Mrs Ty\u2019s house. At first, she told us that her house was totally safe and we need not lock the door. Everything was fine on the first day, however, we had all our money stolen on the last day. Luckily, our personal documents and train tickets were not stolen. It all happened within one hour. We thought there was something strange here. The police agreed with us, too. Bellows are what we found strange:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. It happened in a short time. The lights were turned off at 0:30 and at 2 am the host found out the bags.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. The thieves must have followed us before as our was the only room which had money.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Why didn\u2019t they wait until 2 am when all the family members had fallen asleep.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. According to Mrs Ty, the lights were on when she entered the room. Did the thieves turn the lights? Why did they take Iphone 5s which was charging inside the room rather than Iphone 6+, Iphone 5S, Iphone 4 outside the room?<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. One member in our group had his money in wallet stolen. The wallet was put in a suitcase. What we found strange is that the suitcase was not brought to porch. It meant that the thieves stole in a room where ten people were sleeping.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Mrs Ty has 3 kids. \u00a0Contrary to my belief, they did not appear to be curious about the theft and did not turn up until the following morning.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    To our utter surprise, Mrs Ty did not show any sympathy and responsibility for us. She was not willing to hand in her identification card for fear of not being paid money by us. We had to give her all our money left.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Furious as we were, we still kept our promise to pay our rent through Agribank in Ly Son. We hope everyone can learn from our experience to avoid thefts when travelling.<\/span><\/p>\n

    I want to add that when we were welcomed by Mrs Ty, there were some motorbikes following us. Mrs Ty said that they were her aquaintances so we let them take us to her house and paid them 100 thousand dong in total. She said that because she could drive us home if we traveled in smaller group and she would have paid for us If we had not.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Our trip could have been perfect If the theft had not happened. Ly Son has spectacular landscape. The man who drove us to go to buy crabs for free was very friendly. He had tanned skin and sunny smile. Especially, he was very generous as what is said about Ly Son people. He encouraged to believe in kindness, in humanity.<\/span><\/p>\n
