Everyone says that Ba Be lake \u2013 Bac Kan is very boring. Yes! It is boring! However, if you need a place to stay for the weekend or to visit during your holiday package in Vietnam , it is an ideal place.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bac Kan is a Northern province of Vietnam. Although it is not majestic as Ha Giang, noisy as Sapa, it has its own poetic beauty with a famous tourist attraction: Ba Be lake.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Departure:<\/span><\/h2>\n

To travel to Bac Kan, you can go by car because it is about 243 km from Hanoi. The road is not harsh. If you \u2018d love a trip by motorbike, you can drive on the National way no.3, along the route to Thai Nguyen to get to the center of Bac Kan. When getting Bac Kan, remember to tell the locals to show you the way to Ra market\u2019s area \u2013 about 40km from the town. It is very important because the easiest way to Ba Be lake is the way across Ra market. There are many other ways, but they will take you very much time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Accomodation<\/span><\/h2>\n

If you leave Hanoi at dawn, perhaps you get Bac Kan in the afternoon. Ba Be lake will not make you disappointed with its beauty. However, don\u2019t hurry. Wait, and leave everything for tomorrow morning to have more things to discover.<\/span><\/p>\n

What you need to do is to look for somewhere to stay. If you drive from Ra market to Ba Be lake, most of the hotels, and motels are opposite your side. Catch a fare, and pay 10.000 for acrossing the lake for both people and vehicles.<\/span><\/p>\n

After getting the opposite side, you have many choices at the price of 100.000-250.000 for a room. It is not the time for travel in Bac Kan at that time, so you can choose a room with eaves, and a view of the lake with 100.000 a night. If you can, you can try persuading the owner to let you 4 people stay in a room.<\/span><\/p>\n

Where to go? What to do in Bac Kan tour package?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Put aside your luggage, and spend your afternoon with the beautiful ways along the mountains of Bac Kan. On the river bank, you will see a map of Bac Kan travel area. A great idea for you is that you can get ahead to Don market, about 10 km from the accomodation area. On the way, you can see fields, houses, and goats returning after a day,\u2026 It is still cool. The background is as majestic as a scene of sky. <\/span><\/p>\n

The following will be some ideas for the next days in your Bac Kan tour package<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 You should catch a boat to go sightseeing Ba Be lake at dawn to see the poetic beauty of Ba Be. The area of Ba Ba lake consists of An Ma island, fairy pond, Puong cave, widow island,\u2026 Only with 200.000d-300.000d for a boat (you can ask someone to go with you to let the fee per one down), you have about one and a half hours to go sightseeing all around this area. It is a basic fee to ensure that you will not miss anything.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Pac Ngoi village: It is a village located in the forest\u2019s area. As other villages of ethnic people, Pac Ngoi village has about 40 houses of Tay people, standing on the mountain slope, right next to Ba Be lake. It is its position that makes it more poetic. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Na Khoang Fall: The scene on the way to Na Khoang Fall is very beautiful. A feature that makes Bac Kan special is that it is full of butterflies everywhere, on the river bank, on the sides of ways, beside falls. Going ahead, crossing Pac Ngoi village, you will see a chain-bridge, go on going for about 5 km, you will come Na Khoang Fall. This fall stands at the bottom of the pass Wind, with rocks put stacked forming an ideal place to have a bath. You can have a lunch here because the flagstones are quite even and flat. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Hua Ma cave: It is a cave of about 6 km from Ba Be lake. It is also called Treo cave, having many special features such as: the inside of the cave is not too deep, but very curved. The temperature in the cave is lower than the outside. Besides, there is a statue of Buddha inside. <\/span><\/p>\n

Cuisine\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Arriving in Bac Kan (Vietnam), you should try bamboo soaked with pepper \u2013 one of its specialities. Bamboo is cut into threads, soaked with pepper, and put in a bottle. You can use it to get with fishes. <\/span><\/p>\n

Besides, bamboo-tube rice is a special dish of this area you should try.<\/span><\/p>\n

And don\u2019t forget to have shrimps, and fishes because this area is full many kinds of overseas. <\/span><\/p>\n

If you visit villages, remember to try \u201cbe chao\u201d, wine drunk out of a jar through pipes, rice wine \u2013 You can not refuse the friendlinesss of Tay people. <\/span><\/p>\n
