They are exploiting the route Ho Chi Minh City – Siem Reap.

Hotels in Siem Reap

You should stay at hotels in the Old Market or the Pub Street, which are crowded areas, including many services from food and drink to entertainment. The price fluctuates from 8- 12 $. Besides, you can consider K-ECO House motel. It is owned by a Vietnamese sister conducting tours in Siem Reap. The house is so spacious that I feel as if I am living in my house in Viet Nam. The price is 10$ for Vietnamese.

Food and beverage in Siem Reap

Cambodia cuisine is not as abundant as Vietnam’s. In the Old Market or Pub Street, going along the streets between bazaars, you can find out many Khmer – cuisine restaurants. The price for each dish fluctuates from 2 to 5$. In addition, there are many trucks full of juice at a cost of 1$ per glass for all kinds.

Entertainment in Siem Reap

Angkor is the place everyone has to visit when coming to Siem Reap. To go to Angkor, you can use tuk tuk, taxi, electric bikes, but the most ideal means is bicycle. At the distance of 7 km from Siem Reap, you will pass a route full of trees and shadows. If you don’t have time and do research on history, archeology, you don’t need to explore all about Angkor because temples are identical. The following is my schedule for you to refer:

In the morning, I visit Angkor Thom, not Angkor Wat. In this temple, there are 2 large areas, Bayon and Ba Phuon, and turn into Ta Keo , Ta Prohm (with big trees hold the temple). In the afternoon, I begins to visit Angkor Wat because the sun shine into the temple, making the picture more pretty. If you want to watch sunset, back to Angkor Thom. If you want to watch sunrise after the temples, you should start soon to watch at Angkor Thom. To check the destination, download Map.me to use.

Siem reap’s attractions

The ticket price for one day is 20$. When buying tickets, you will be captured and the pictures are embedded on the ticket. When you have the ticket, you can come into Angkor. It is ok that you want to go out for meals and back as long as your ticket haven’t expired.

After walking in Angkor, you can go to the Pub Street. There are many pubs, restaurants here, the price is enforceable. In the evening, go up to the bridges over the river which is opposite the Old market to watch music concert of street children and an interesting foreigner playing guitar.

You should spend a day in Siem Reap to go sightseeing in the Old Market, and pedal around the city to know more. Next to the Old Market is a café shop whose pie is quite delicious and suitable for a morning in a strange city.

If you go by coach, you should take 7 o’clock trip to back to Ho Chi Minh City.
