Phu Quoc is a beautiful destination in Vietnam travel package. The peak season of travelling in Phu Quoc is from the early of October this year to April next year. It is a gift I gave to myself to travel to Phu Quoc after hard-working days.
To avoid difficulties of life, sea is the best choice. In the end of October, as soon as having some spare time, I made a plan to travel to Phu Quoc in November.
I was born and fostered in a coastal area. However, the life forced me to come and live in Hanoi. Sea is a part of my soul, the part has been lost. Every time I feel tired, depressed, or feel like a fish out of water, I come to a beach to decrease all stress.
The smell of sea, the sound of wave can make me feel better. The power of sea is very great. It can blow all stress, and give me more energy for life, and work.
In the North, Ha Long Bay is beautiful with hundreds of limestone islands associated with the legends of dragons the Jade Emperor appointed to help people fight against enemies. In the South, Phu Quoc is known as “a heaven of ground”. Both are impressive, and very attractive.
Ha Long is majestic with limestone mountains. Phu Quoc is charming as a beautiful girl.
The upcoming trip in November will be my second trip to Phu Quoc. However, the eager, and expectation is the same as the first trip.
Phu Quoc has a sum of 22 islands, belonging to the Gulf of Thailand, and known as its “tropical heaven”. A beach of Phu Quoc – Bai Dai is one of the most beautiful beaches of the world. Phu Quoc is an attractive site for travelers who love experiences, and want to discover the beauty of nature.
According to the locals, Phu Quoc means “A wealthy land”, named by a Chinese who has the first name is “Mac”. It is told that, a group of people, after many days spent on sea, settled down in a island of the Gulf of Thailand. Because it is a beautiful island, convenient for life, they decided to stay, and named it as “Phu Quoc”.
It is actually a wealthy land, with great natural resources. It is full of shrimps, fishes, and many rare kinds of sea animals. In the center of the island is a forest of 37.000 ha, the house of many kinds of plants, and animals. Nowadays, people even see it as a museum of plants and animals of Vietnam.
Nature brings the locals wealth. The landscape here is very poetic, and attractive.
I saw sunset on Dinh Cau, which is made by rocks of strange shape, supporting the temple. It is one of attractive site of Phu Quoc because of its spirituality. It is the symbol of Gods, blessing for the local life.
Phu Quoc is also a place for discovery. It has streams inside mountains such as Da Ban, Fairy stream, Cave stream, Tranh stream. The most beautiful one is Tranh stream which is long 15 km, passes through forest, and mountain.
Its specialities are “coi bien mai”, “fish sauce”, wine, pearls. It welcomes travelers with all friendliness.
I love sea, and love Phu Quoc. It helps me find out myself, and my lost happiness.
Many interesting things are waiting for me in the next trip in November. I assure that I will travel to Phu Quoc many times in future.
