From the end of October, many travelers rushed to Ha Giang for buckwheat. Many flower beds are trod on. Flowers planted for the festival on 11th December were destroyed.

Along with fields such as Sung La, Lung Cu, many people took pictures, and trod on flowers. Many people even pick flowers, and leave rubbish as a mess”

Mr. Nguyen Dac Hoa, a guide of a travel agency in Hanoi said, large fields of flowers attract many travelers come here on all inclusive Vietnam vacation package to take pictures. Many travelers came fields of Sua Pa A village because flowers was in bloom here. Some farmer charged 10.000 vnd for each entry.

In spite of a lane into the field, many people trod on flowers, making them crushed to take beautiful pictures. They think that they have paid for entry an taking pictures, so making some flowers crushed is not a problem.

“It takes 4-5 months to plant such a beautiful lines of flowers. They are not only for observation, but also for farmers’ earnings.” Mr. Nguyen Dac Hoa said.

Whenever taking a group to here, he always tell them not to follow lanes, not tread on flowers, and keep environment fresh.

On a forum, nickname Minh Tien said: “ Ha Giang should build attraction site with lanes for travelers to take pictures without making flowers crushed”

Another wrote: “Travelers may be not aware that those flowers are bringing the main source of income of farmers. I am from Ha Giang. I feel very sad when seeing this. Please don’t behave like that anymore.”
